In preparation for Uffda Day 2016 activities, the organizers sought out entries for the parade as well as for a talent and wife-carrying contest. The day also included the classic and antique car show, sale of lefse and other ethnic foods, the NorSweDane Dancers, arts and crafts, music, wine tasing, 5K run/walk, pedal pull , nickel scramble and more.

More than 70 classic cars were parked around town and several were in the parade at 1 p.m. There were more than 100 entries as it was another election year so several candidates and others just showed up for the event. An estimated 1,500 people attended and watched the parade, often three deep.

Kids activities included face painting and train rides along with the bouncy houses. Adults participated in the 5K, the parade, and watching the wife-carrying contest to end the day.
