Welcome to the Rutland, North Dakota blog courtesy of the Rutland Community Club.
The Rutland ND blog began as part of the Northwest Area Foundation Horizons Program in January 2008. The Horizons program was a community leadership program aimed at reducing poverty in small rural and reservation communities. The primary purposes of the community blogs was to help the communities track their progress in the program and help them communicate with their residents.
In 2011, the Foundation ceased support of the community blogs and each community was given the option to move their blog to another host site. Rutland chose to move to a WordPress platform and the purpose of the current blog has been slightly modified while preserving the content of the original Rutland blog — which had 6162 visits during its existence.

I just found this blog. I lived in Rutland about 70 years ago. My father was Don Dallman. We lived in town as well as rural Northeast of town on the George Dallman farm. I remember our relatives farmed around there as well as in the Cayuga and Ransom areas. Just curious if there is room to reminisce and write interviews and stories.
